question about Audible books
I have never used Audible. There is a book my husband is interested in listening to because it was written by a musician, and there are other musicians on the recording performing and speaking.
Does anyone know if you can play books from Audible on a PC (Windows) and if you have software download it /burn to cd? This would be after buying it, of course. He does not have a kindle and does not have enough space on his phone to store it there. Thank you! Sherry

Hi Sherry!
Yes, there is an Audible app for a Windows PC. You can download the files from there to the computer and/or transfer them to an Audible compatible device. I don't think you can burn the files to a CD/DVD though.

You might try downpour.com. That's what I use, and from what I can tell, they have everything Audible has. I like them better because you don't need a special app, and you can put them on a CD if you want to. They're all in .mp3 format.

I hope your library gets it. We are friendly with the musicians Don Dixon and Marti Jones who are in the book.
