Using a capture device. Play on the VHS, capture device connects VHS to the computer which saves the played video as an MP4. Then I load the MP4 into movie making software and add a menu, chapters, and I make playlists that are mixes.
The capture device came from Aldi for about $70 and DH bought me the Sony DVD movie making software. Did ALL of my VHS workouts and home movies of the children.
Now that they are done, I just use the movie software to make nice DVDs with playlists and chapters of things I download from YouTube, like Leslie, Jessica, etc. Have ChromeCast but that doesn’t give me chapters or mixes so downloading and making DVDs is better.
