Great review! I've had this dvd for a week and have started my 3rd run thru (one chapter a day). I wouldn't categorize it as beginner that's for sure. I am really enjoying it and feel the work when I'm done.

Anyone see this at Walmart?

I've looked at Target, and they don't have it yet.

Thanks for the review. If you have this one, do you need her older version that everyone's comparing it to? I know it's out of print, so finding it might be hard.

Now that it's been out for a bit, who's seeing results with it?

I love Mari's Lower Body Pilates. I have been adding it in daily with my other workouts.

Nice review

I bought this along with Mari's Flat Abs Pilates (w/2 routines).
I plan to combine these with her original Winsor Bun & Thighs and Winsor Abs workouts so that I have a decent variety for concentrating on 20 mins of Pilates every evening.

I think that's a very good idea. I also like her original upper body Pilates workout. It has push ups and triceps dips as well as light Pilates style dumbell work.

What do you all think of her Pilates for Pink workout (the one with the band)?

Oh that's good to know... I never tried this one!

Ruth, I don't have that video, not being a fan of Pilates band workouts. Which is funny because I realize they're supposed to better simulate reformer exercises and I love reformer Pilates. But when it comes to doing mat Pilates at home, I like the 'naked', no-equipment approach best. ETA - except for light dumbbells, that is.

Gina,
A bit unrelated to the topic... I did the original Buns and Thighs this morning and thought about you . I remember you saying you prefer the workout over the other buns and thighs with the band. This is one I can do on days when I don't feel at all like working out because there is no excuse not to do it!
