I finally have a check-in that isn't PT. I did a book workout, Edward Jackowski's Escape Your Weight, so I could go at my own pace. Some of the stretches hurt too much to do. Some of the lower body exercises were too much for the leg. I'll get there someday. Maybe. The hip flexor and adductors are still painful from being strained. No one is worried about it but me so I'll try to stop worrying.

I've liked the last 2 book workouts I've done.. I like to breath in my own time. I totally get this..

refresh my mind: did you have hip surgery?

I had hip replacement in May and strained the hip flexor, quads, and adductors in July.

No workout today. Been so busy. Among other things, I'm refinishing our dining table and that is quite a task.

Cynthia, how did the performance go?

Linda, glad you are able to do some sort of workout!

Cheryl 2, I have Raynaud's Syndrome, and my fingertips often get numb in grocery stores. I agree that they make them too cold!

Diana, I will have to make those sandwiches. DD loves marischino cherries!

Lynn, when does school start for you?

Hi Everyone!

Seabliss I think crushed pineapple and toasted pecans would be really good, too.

No workout today. We had some really bad storms. Didn't get a chance to walk outdoors, go to the gym, or go to the shop. I have been dancing while listening to music on my phone. So, I have been moving today.

32 minutes of exercise including rest periods.

Book Program Workout #2

Did all of program 2 x with 15. I think i'm getting stronger.. Just don't close your eyes when you do swings, you get dizzy.

Hey Linda:

would you show me one of the exercise routine you do in this book?

I looked it up on amazon but they don't give a preview of the type of exercise in it.

do you pick the exercise you want to do or is it set up for you already
