I'm not sure though because I only watched a few of the videos and it might get old after awhile but I enjoyed the few I watched. She herself isn't very warm like some youtubers but I liked the tips and makeup look she used for the mature women. It might be worth a look for anyone interested.
Thanks for the recommendation! I gave her channel a quick peek, and I’m definitely interested in her makeovers for older women. I’m 60, and it’s hard to find someone who does that well.

Just wanted to second the recommendation of the Revlon Pro Collection Salon One Step Dryer. I bought it at Target about 2 weeks ago after I read some women raving about how wonderful it was. It really does dry my hair fast. I hated the process of using a round brush and a dryer. This is so much easier and faster. I used to dread mornings that I had to wash my hair and now I don't!

The only negative is that it is pretty LOUD!
Liz

PS thanks for the shampoo suggestions Wendy!

You're welcome. I watch the younger youtubers also but I related to this more. It's definitely not common to see this for mature women on youtube, especially mature women who didn't have procedures and work done and with gray hair too .

Not too heavy. The nice part is that I can get my hair dry in about half the time and it looks good.

That dryer has so many good reviews! I've never tried one of the 2 in 1 dryers before and I'm intrigued! How do you clean the bristles on it? I have to clean my round brush because of build up of styling products on it.

It is maybe 8 years old but still in working condition. However, it has been frying my hair lately (too hot?), but I never noticed it being too hot. Anyway, I have a small travel dryer that I've used the last couple of times I washed my hair and my hair was noticeably smoother and not as dry. I have thick hair so the travel dryer takes too long to use full time so I'm in need of a new regular sized hair dryer. When I look online they range from $15- $200 ! And the reviews are all over the map. Do I get ceramic or an ionic dryer? I got so frustrated looking I just gave up. Your help is much appreciated!

I comb through the bristles after each use. Haven't had any build up yet so that hasn't been an issue for me. I forgot to mention that I use my old hair dryer at the beginning when my hair is really wet to eliminate extra moisture (for about a minute) and then I go on to use the Revlon drier.

I first heard of her channel here and I love the videos that I've seen so far.

Others that I subscribe to and love:

Dominique Sachse - TV news anchor, didn't care for her much at first, but I've grown to love her - she does a variety of videos - beauty, hair, style

Gothamista - is younger, probably in her '30's, but she's very knowledgeable about skin.

Caroline Hirons - English and an absolute blast. She knows a ton about skin and is coming out with a book soon.

Jordan Samuel - a former ballerina turned esthetician with his own skin care line.

Nerida Joy - superb facialist to the stars - with more than 40 years of experience. She's generally against most procedures, I believe. Her videos are geared mostly towards people in the industry. I just watch the ones that interest me.

I love Melissa55 - but I don't watch as many videos of hers as I used to. I don't care for vlogs and watching anything that is not going to benefit me in some way. I don't have time to waste. She's a sweetheart, but I want to spend my time learning something.

Stephanie Nicole - is young, very knowledgeable, also rubs some people the wrong way. I've only seen a few of her videos. She knows her stuff.

Dr. Sam Bunting - didn't like her at first, but I've seen a few more videos and she also knows her stuff.
