Alta - I also liked Millennium & especially Hannibal. Mads Mikkelsen was the perfect psychopath. Another show I loved that was pretty violent was The Americans.

I LOVED The Americans! What a great show! I'm going to have to check out some of these other shows mentioned. Psychopaths and psychics, right up my alley! Now we just need some cults thrown in there and I'd be a happy camper!

I only made it through one episode. It just seemed like a lot of violence + some type of medieval porn to me I can't figure out what all of the hoopla about this series is I think I'm going to try the book series and see if I like it better there.

LOVED this show. Yes it sure was dark. I'm a big fan of Lance's!

GoT never grabbed me either. My in-laws really got into it, they actually binged watched it.

Not me, one episode and told hubby if you want to watch it, it is all yours.

Yea, Season 1 in particular was all about that lol! There were some scenes I just couldn't get into. I loved the show for the political intrigue, but the violence kept me from getting into Seasons 4-6. I skipped straight to 7. Once the last Season got going, I gotta say, I hated everyone lol! Well, except John Snow's friend with the baby and Tormund. Oh, and Tyrion. He really talked his way out of an execution. Slow clap for that one.

"They" say it's the journey not the destination but in the case of GoT, the destination is so terrible that it's makes the journey pointless. IMHO.

I felt that way about the final episode of Lost. What a giant letdown! The writers truly lost their way!

Amen!

After years of saying 'We'd never do that', they did it. Sigh.
