Yoga for men recommendations

My brother-in-law wants to start doing yoga. He has been doing some yoga stretches he learned in rehab. He is 61, has some leg weakness/pain and is overweight. I wanted to get him a dvd that would appeal to men and is not too challenging. Any ideas? I thought of DDP but I think it’s too strenuous for him. Thank you.

Dean Pohlman's Yoga Boost would be ideal I think.

My husband started out with this one for a few months and then he did Ultimate Yogi. He was quite overweight at the time and lost all of it in the process.

This beginner DVD has 3 progressive practices. They start out very basic and build, but they are all beginner level, IMO.

I only have the DDP original series and out of curiosity went to their web site as I hadn't heard anything from them in a while. There is now a series called Rebuild that is geared for age 55 and older and individuals with limited mobility. The first practices can even be done in bed. Here's the link:

https://ddpyoga.com/collections/feat...18497437139033

Also - the site advertises 30% off with HOLIDAY19 code.

There's a new person featured in the video clips on the site. Active military and veterans can get 50% off.

I love watching the DDP video clips - I hadn't seen the one with Vance before.

Thanks for that info!

My DH (59) is doing the original DDP Yoga rotation even as we speak. It has improved his flexibility. I'd be interested in checking out the new series more for me.

ETA: I ran across an old episode of Shark Tank on YouTube where DDP was trying to get financing for his new app and set.

They all turned him down.

I also just checked out the DDP website. That Rebuild program looks really good for older beginners. Thank you so much!

Did your husband continue with yoga, is he still?
