I'm not much of a talker (in person) and by the time I post in a GD thread, someone else has already said it way better than I ever could! But, I've enjoyed coming to VF for many years, and miss those more active days, when the discussions were so lively.

I wasn't always consistent this past year, and when I'm a slacker (or don't want to feel tempted to purchase DVDs) I stay away....but, never for very long.

I will make more of an effort to post in the GD forum, instead of just the Check-in forum.

Been doing the daily workout hch starts. So far, I'm at 0.02. Hmmmmm. Should work on that. Been reading various check-in, trying to decide which to join.
Jump on in!!

This is so me too! I buy some of Cathe's offerings now and then and every once in a while a new KCM but that's about it. I know what I like and what I'll actually use. I was looking at the sales at Mary's site and cruised over to Collage Video the other day but nothing caught my interest. It made me kind of sad but I'm saving money!

On that note - happy new year everyone!! May you achieve your goals, fitness and otherwise!!

I also love reading about your experiences with older workouts! I might have it gathering dust. Or you might inspire me to buy it from Mary - older workouts can be really inexpensive. Heck, I "discovered" Gilad just a few years ago and he's now a favorite!

I'm hoarding floor aerobics and step aerobics DVDs from the likes of Kathy Smith, Karen Voight, Gay Gasper and Kari Anderson -- these are classics and I want to own them outright (for a few bucks) instead of being beholden to byzantine copyright laws and what that means for streaming services that want to shake money out of my pockets every month
