NO Burpees in KCM'S newest............

and that is absolute sweet music to my ears!!! This was brought up in another thread but I can't find it right now as I'm in a hurry to get to work so just wanted to let you all know NO BURPEES. I asked on Kelly's Forum and she herself answered (with pure Kelly humor) that there are none in Plateau Buster. SO happy

Well, NOW this solves my dilemma whether to pre-order or not! Thanks, Judy!

That's wonderful news Judy. Nothing makes a workout stay on a shelf and become a 1 hit wonder more for me than if it contains Burpees.

I hear ya. I have never done a workout that has burpees in it more then once.........never. And it seems that move is all the rage with most instructors. Kelly says burpees are hard on the joints and make you lightheaded, I totally agree with her. Most dreaded move ever!!!!! Kelly did say there will be weighted squat thrusts in the 'Make it Harder with Kelly' premix but, ya know, for the life of me, I cannot remember what the heck a squat thrust is guess they can't be too bad or I would remember them "fondly" like I do burpees

A squat thrust IS a burpee.

How does one do a weighted squat thrust

At any rate, I'm glad these moves are restrained to the premix options and not the main workouts!

maybe you are holding weights in your hands and put the weights down on the floor and jump back in push up position (using the weights as push up handles)

ehh I didn't know either
googled it and found this...hth

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/rossboxing2.htm

this link says a squat thrust is without the jump, you just stand after thrust,
burpee includes a jump after standing
