An immediate negative would be what it does on the pocketbook!

I ask myself, would I get $1500 benefit from this piece of equipment? I would then answer, no. Now, if I was a fitness competitor of some caliber, my answer could be different. But, as the average American that works out a bit more than the average American, my answer continues to be no.

I used it a few times during physical therapy. I had knee surgery and towards the end of my therapy the therapist wanted me to try it to see if it helped me. They would have me do squats and balance on one leg. It's hard to say if it helped me recover any faster or not. But I didn't notice any other major benefits from it.

I've seen one at Sam's Club the last few visits, but didn't look very closely. First time they had a rep there trying to get people to try it. I was in shorts, that wasn't happening. LOL

When I did a workshop at Equinox, I saw trainers using this with clients - doing squats for example on the platform while it vibrated.

Anyone else? I think the thing I want the most from it is lymphatic drainage. Especially to counteract super sedentary days at work.

$1500 is a lot of money for a vibrator. You know if you are actually looking for lymphatic drainage, there are a lot of ways to get it for a price tag that is an order of magnitude less than that and having other benefits:

Skin brushing: $10 + $40 for T-Tapp instructional DVD (optional)
T-Tapp workout: $80-150/DVD
Yoga: $10-20/class or DVD
Walking 10k steps per day: $12-100 for pedometer plus shoes
Rebounding: $100-1000 (?) for rebounder new
Hitachi Magic Wand
