Merry Christmas to my VF Barefoot Family! I appreciate all of you and hope that everyone is making the best of the Holidays during this strange year. We are cooking dinner at home.

Like Garrie I am way behind here! I finished work a week ago, but have been busy working around the house and helping DH with various projects. I hope things slow down before I go back to work in mid-January.

Linda: I hope Miss Meow is keeping you company with your SO having to work.

Hope to check in more in the next few days.

Merry Christmas to those that celebrate! It was really cute watching our two grandsons open their gifts from Santa this morning.

Cyana, I liked what you posted from Tias and Surya--thank you for sharing it.
I bet you enjoyed the Leonid and Friends concert!

Pam, how nice that you were able to see your DS2 & DIL.
I also recommend AdBlock for those annoying YouTube ads.

Pat, it certainly has been a challenging year. Enjoy your visit with your son tomorrow.
I hope your great grand nephew doesn't come down with covid.

It's 73 degrees F and sunny today! I'm waving to everyone!

Merry Christmas everyone!

No workouts to report the last couple of days, although I've continued walking.

This morning I enjoyed gathering with my brother, niece and grandniece to open presents. My little grandniece got her first bike! It was fun to take her out to ride on the sidewalks around my complex. But I also can't help thinking of my brother who passed away last spring, since Christmas day a year ago was when I last saw him.

This has been a difficult year for all of us, but I feel hopeful we going through the worst of it now, and that 2021 will eventually bring better times.

Take care everyone!

~neighbourhood walk
~Yin chest openers, supported side bends, & hip openers
~Insight Timer: Rain Dance Meditation with Koshi chimes & singing bowls

Hi Garrie & Carolyn!

Paine & Sandra - Sounds like you both had a lovely day! Seeing the little ones open their gifts is what I missed most! Our cases remain very low here on the Island, but we felt we had to respect the restrictions in place. We had a nice long zoom call, but it’s not the same. Next year will be better!

Waves to all!

On Friday I did an hour long NIA dance class and Yoga Ranger Root Chakra practice. This morning is a rest from cardio (shoulder is acting up, so no weights). I did Yoga Ranger Total Body Yin Meridian Balancing Stretch, which was lovely.

After that, I tried an Eoin Finn Modern Honey meditation from you tube, but very annoyed when it was interrupted TWICE by ads! It's bad enough to ads in yoga, but during meditation is even more annoying. I think the second ad cut off the closing to the practice.

I hope everyone had a lovely holiday. We had a quiet day with the three of us, but that is fine with me.

I will try for personals later. I haven't been sleeping well, and I'm too brain dead right now....

Hi there!

Today's Workout: I did the Floor section of Jessica Smith's new Gentle Yoga Plus Pilates. This wasn't exactly the stretchy, mellow routine I half expected but it was pleasantly challenging and I liked it.

I used a portion of my Amazon Christmas gift card stash to order Lee Holden's Qi Gong For Better Balance. That should arrive Tuesday. Am reserving the rest of my balance for Jessica's Lift and Shift project (whatever it is and whenever it is available!).

Waving to all!

Good morning to all, happy post-boxing Boxing Day!

I haven't been very active other than a two mile hike with DS who visited yesterday. The three of us exchanged gifts in the backyard. I was a zombie Christmas Day and let all the gloominess swallow me up. So my sadhana I meditated both days and was good about doing my back stretches on the bolster yesterday.

Sandra, I'm looking forward to hearing how you like the Holden Better Balance. I also hope we all have a better year.

Pam I will look for that Insight meditation. I did a couple of good ones on Glo recently.

Sherry, boo and hiss on ads during meditation!!

Paine, the kids opening gifts is the best part of all the holiday madness.

Bah - DH is clamoring for me to go to the gym - everyone have a good Sunday.
