Wai Lana goes way back! I used to catch her show sometimes on my local PBS station - gee I want to say in the late 1980s? My first yoga mat, strap and pair of blocks were a Wai Lana yoga kit from TJ Maxx. That strap is still my go-to yoga strap and I still use the blocks. I took them to an Ana Forest workshop in 2006 and wrote on them in Sharpie to commemorate it.

Now my PBS station only plays CS and the Power Yoga with a lady named Adrienne. I'd rather have Wai Lana back.

I have several of her DVDs. She has a bunch of workouts on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLn...6mSbn-y_xq0WHA

I just found a 3-VHS set at the library book sale. What's not to like for .75 cents!? I've only previewed. Love the outfits!

Pat, mine too (although I only got a single block)! I still have the set also--I use the mat when I practice yoga at work, and although it's relatively thin, it's one of the best non-slip mats I've ever had.

Penny, did you do a tag search? This is exactly why tagging threads is SO important--in fact, I went ahead and tagged this one so that people will be able to find it in the future.

I'm not a Yoga person, but I do like Wai Lana because she does individual poses and not that flowing jazz I can't stand. Flexibility is my favorite DVD of hers. I have that one and the "Easy Series" set. I had a couple of others that I got rid of. I also have a blue Wai Lana Yoga mat and, at one time, had her 3 pound dumbbells.

I also followed Wai Lana Yoga back in the 80s & 90s on PBS. She is how I discovered the Neti Pot, although she first recommended snorting warm salt water from your palm in one nostril and blowing out through the other. If not for her show I may never have tried any yoga poses. Over time her outfits, bright make-up, and loud music turned me off and onto new instructors.

Same here! It's the yoga mat I keep in my "secret room."
