I'm looking for intense cardio and this looks really good.

I have a few questions.

Can these be used as Hiit workouts?

Are there lots of push-ups? I hate them.

What equipment (if any) is needed?

I am loving these workouts and she is so inspiring. Now I can see why her workouts are so popular. I am adding more cardio, since these are great as finishers. And since these are so short, I real push myself.

I am so glad she put these dvds out and at such a great price. Major thumbs up from me!

Me to, I do the dvds once thru, to get the exercise/form/intensity down. Then I rarely, will do the dvds, this way I can play my own music and do my own reps and sets, her workouts to me are excellent for my workout style

Well there aren't many breaks in between, but they are definitely high intensity.

Some pushups but not overkill. Lots of burpees. Some tricep dips.

Body weight only so far. I have not done Vol 3 yet.

First, she only goes through the exercises once and I really think it would have been better to split into at least 2 rounds; especially since it took so long to do the 60 reps of (10 high knees into plank X 60 times!!) It would have been better to have that at 2 rounds of 20 (for a total of 40, instead of 60) or maybe even just 2 rounds of 40. Also, on the first exercise, the prisoner get ups I think that's what they're called), she only does 10 reps of that move ALL on the same leg. I wound up pausing the workout during the high knee's plank move and did another 10 on the other leg. This is a super challenging workout and let me tell you, it is not easy doing 30 side lunge jumps followed by 40 full (into curtsey lunge) skater jumps. Phew! She truly has some amazing endurance. I loved the first 3 exercises, but the last 3 went on too long and I feel would have been better had they been split up into the 2 rounds as mentioned above. Still, I got a great workout and I know I will feel this tomorrow. She is extremely movtivating. I'm looking forward to workouts 3 and 4

Kelly, I had a thought earlier today regarding workout #2. Try doing this workout in 10 rounds. It would look like this:
Each round
Exercise #1-1 rep
Exercise #2-2 reps
Exercise ##3-3 reps
Exercise #4-4 reps
Exercise #5-5 reps
Exercise #6-6 reps
Exercise #7-7 reps

I still think you'll get a sweat fest of a workout.

Oh, regarding Z using the same leg during the prisoner get ups. I think it's easier if you just use your dominant side.
