Smile tonya???

For all of you that have done the Tonya Step Surge-would you consider it a real circuit w/o or is it more cardio with some muscle thrown in to keep it interesting? Anyone ready to write a real review soon?
TIA!

When I get my copy I plan on writing an official review--give me a few days since I haven't gotten it yet (but I will write it up asap when I do!)

I wonder if Cathe's 3-in-1 Combo 14 lb. Weighted Fitness Bars and Stretch Tube would work. It's alot cheaper.

Is the bar weighted? If it's not, Danskin has a similar looking one that sells for $20 at Wal-Mart.

Rose, I'm not familiar with the other bar but the Danskin one would probably work as well and for $20 might be an better option!!

I don't know how accurate HR monitors are with calorie burn but hopefully they are somewhat accurate. I have a Timex one that was recommended here a few months back & I love it! My HR averaged about 145 or so for the workout and I'm 5' 5" (and a half), about 128 pounds.
i dunno.... i think even for 80 minutes of step... that's a LOT of calories!

I did Seasun's last night. I really enjoyed it but I pick up choreography pretty easily. My personal opinion is if a person is choreography challenged at all and not interested in having steps thrown at them with no break down, don't get the workout. Seasun moves fast from step to step. She does repeat the moves she shows quite a few times but I was still stopping to get my brain around the sequencing and turns. I really did like the workout though. The music is great and the routine is fun once you get it.

Shoot I wish I would have waited for these reviews to order - sure hope that I won't be lost in the step workout. I got Amy's Kickbox one and the first pattern was a little difficult - but I am thinking the more I do it the faster I will catch on - hopefully that will be the case with the step workout!
