Oh no, Karen! I'm so glad you're ok! Feel free to message me, too, if you need anything from another local!

I'm so glad you're doing okay Karen. Thank you for posting about your ordeal and reminding us vidiots that we too have to be on the lookout for what unpleasant physical trials life may hand us. Lucky your dh was on top of his game and knew what to do. Take good care of yourself

I am sorry this happened to you, but glad your husband was prepared. I hope your GP appointment went well.

Karen, what a scary experience this must have been. Good job on your husband's part for recognizing your symptoms as those of a stroke and acting quickly. I so glad that you're ok!

Late at wishing you the best, Karen. Think your experience hits close to home as my DH has had two strokes (not mini) in the past year and we are still working with various doctors to find out what triggered them. I was with him when he had the second one and the only symptom he had was weakness in his left leg--no speech slurring, his arms and other legs were fine, no facial drooping. It can happen that way, and thank heavens your husband was alert to your symptoms!

Keep us posted as you continue your recovery.

Hi Karen, I'm so glad that you are OK, and that your husband was there with you - he sounds like a great guy. And thank you for listing the symptoms; I was not aware of some of those. Take care.

Thanks, every one, for your support! The main thing I got from my GP yesterday was that the dizziness I'm having now is pretty common after a stroke and could go away but might not. Ugh!
