Bone Broth

To VFers who make and consume bone broth regularly, what kinds of improvements &/or changes have you noticed as a result? As in health, skin, hair, or energy levels in general (affecting workouts), or anything else? I'm a big believer in healing foods and took too long to buy myself a decent electric pressure cooker but I finally did. So now I can get 2-3 days worth of cooking down to a few hours instead.

I believe my joints feel better after drinking bone broth regularly for about 2 months, could be wishful thinking though, lol. I have an Instant pot pressure cooker, have used it for broth and it works great. But I mostly use my large slow cooker as it holds more, I let it simmer all night. I have done turkey, chicken, beef, bison, & pork. All are good, but bison is the family favorite.

Hi,

Discussion of the health benefits (or unhealthfulness, for that matter) of specific foods isn't allowed under our no diet talk rules. If you want to share bone broth recipes, that is allowed in the recipes forum.
