CLX (ChaLEAN Extreme) Rotation 2019

This check-in is for anyone incorporating CLX (ChaLEAN Extreme) into their workout mix, or interested in doing so. There are no rules; check in daily, weekly, or just pop in to ask a question. Join us!
I will be using the following template developed by Debbie S. starting tomorrow January 6. For cardio I will have Jessica Smith Walks, Hamelinís Cardio Tones, T-Tapp Step Aways.

Week 1-3
Burn 1-Chest, Iso Shoulders, Legs
Cardio
Burn 2-Arms, Back, Legs
Cardio
Burn 3-Shoulders, Legs

Week 4-6
Push 3-Back, Chest, Legs
Cardio
Push 2-Shoulders & minimal Legs
Cardio
Push 1-Arms, Legs

Week 7-9
Lean 3-Chest, Shoulders & minimal Legs
Cardio
Lean 1-Arms, Legs
Cardio
Lean 2-Back, Iso Shoulders, Legs

Week 10
Lean 3-Chest, Shoulders & minimal Legs
Cardio
Burn 2-Arms, Back, Legs
Cardio
Push 2-Shoulders & minimal Legs

Week 11
Burn 1-Chest, Iso Shoulders, Legs
Cardio
Push 1-Arms, Legs
Cardio
Lean 2-Back, Iso Shoulders, Legs

Week 12

Burn 1 - done today with combo of 6.5-12lb dumbbells and kettlebells, since my heaviest DB is 8lb. This is shoulder heavy set and I anticipate to be sore tomorrow even with such a light load.

Hi aliskina, I decided to give this a try. I started today with Burn 1 and I really enjoyed the work out! I hope I am able to stick with the rotation. I actually had Debbie's modified rotation printed and tucked into the DVD set.

Welcome, Helen! I created excel with weight/reps breakdown to log in daily. How heavy did you go today?

I went light because I'm a bit out of shape and I wasn't sure what to use. I'm going to start recording the weights I use. I definitely could have gone a bit heavier.

Cardio day - Jessica Smith Weight Loss Walks - 40 min Mega Burn. Nice steady state walk that helped me to stretch my sore arms and hams.

Hi aliskina! Today was a rest day already according to the rotation. I was all set to do Burn Intervals because I thought that might be what was designated for the cardio day but was not sure. What do you think? Is Burn Intervals okay to do on a cardio day or just do your own cardio of choice?

<<If you want to try to alter CLX to help ensure you gain muscle, my biggest recommendation would be to dump the cardio workouts that come with CLX and do your own cardio (no circuits!) a couple of times a week on opposite days from the strength training workouts. Keep your cardio short, 20-30 minutes is optimal.>>

Burn 2 today with 8-15lb dumbbells/kettlebells. Deadllifts made my lower back sore, maybe I was doing it too low. Still adjusting my weights.
