I like Margaret and her workouts, but there is clearly some type of financial issue going on. Most people with a business get business loans or draw from their own funds for business expenses, especially after being in business for decades.

Crowdfunding makes sense to me for people who are poor and need help with medical expenses, or for young people starting out, who have not had years to save or build a business. Someone in business for decades simply asking for handouts doesn’t seem right to me.

Isn't this at least the fourth time she's tried to crowdfund something? She's like the new Anna Benson.

Isn't she trying to get a new show on PBS, too?

The Body Electric shows used music by the original artists. That is why it costs a fortune.

As far as fund raising only for younger people, a lot of established musicians no longer have record contracts and use crowd funding to record and distribute new music. The Zombies did it for their last release.

Sherry I believe TLC used crowd funding for their last album as well.

Margaret has more than twenty years' worth of shows on PBS! She's offering them as she is able to get them. I don't know why people are surprised. I can only assume other instructors have much more limited offerings.

She had failed attempts. The last campaign finally raised enough to get some shows up.
