Amy's Kettlebells - I was surprised!

For some reason though I have had this workout disc for AGES, I mean over a year, I have never done it. I think that I just did not see Amy as a kettlebell trainer so although I had purchased it, I just never grabbed it at workout time. Plus, it says 'advanced' so I wasn't sure just how hard it would be, etc.

As usual, I was in the mood for kettlebells today and just figured that it was about time I gave this a shot. I was surprisingly pleased with this one! I only did one of the mixes, but the disc has 3 20 minute workouts and then some mixes, and I chose the shortest one for 29 minutes. Then there are also abdominal and stretch sections. It went by really fast, although kettlebell workouts usually do for me, they just don't get tedious, perhaps because I really pay attention a LOT since I am still not WAY experienced with it. I love AOS "minute of strength" updates, and think that website is da bomb!!

Anyway, for anybody who was wondering, AND you already know kettlebell form and function, this is better than I expected it to be!

Which kettlebell workout is that, "Dynamics" or "3-in-1"? (You said 3 workouts so I guess it's 3-in-1?)

I'm pretty sure she's talking about Kettlebell Dynamics, since it was labeled Advanced.

I like this DVD too since it mixes cardio with kb exercises. But I also agree that it's for those that already have experience with kbs and know good form.

I like the 'mix' too, although, I get PLENTY of cardio from kb swings and such! But the mix just makes it go faster, I think. But she does not go into form a great deal, and therefore is def meant for an experienced beller.

This is my favorite kettlebell workout! I'm not an expert on form but I thought her form looked good in this one.

I really like this workout too. It has many options. I don't move around like Amy does, I stay put for most of those moves. I've mixed this w/o with parts of other kbell w/o's and it makes them so fresh/fun. I hope she does another kbell workout. This was so reasonably priced. Right now it's on sale at Advanced Workouts for charity.
