I've been in Colorado for decades and I'm not a baseball fan, but I grew up in Cubs country and I watched them win tonight. SO AWESOME.

When I was a kid, my dad would take me to Wrigley field for opening day every year, and then send a sick note to school that I'd had 'baseball-itis".

Wish he could still be here to cheer them on. Go Cubs Go!

Years ago my DH worked with a lovely woman from Chicago. She gave him a Cubs coffee mug. We still have it over twenty years later.

I am a baseball fan. The past few years have been filled with heartache as the Diamondbacks have become the team where good pitchers go to fall apart.

That said, I am NOT a Dodgers fan, so I join with you in shouting:

GO CUBS!!!

I cannot believe the Cubs are going to the World Series. I never thought it would really come true. This team is so fun, but my stress level is off the charts watching the games.
