Zgym

Not really a new release, but Zuzana posted about ZGYM on Facebook. It's in her latest blog on her website. It opens 6-10-13. My laptop doesn't like her website so I can't provide any information. Can someone post information?

I don't think there is a lot yet, but I've been watching it b/c I think I'm going to do it. It will be $10 a month. My determining factor will be if I have to stream (can't) or if the workouts can be downloaded for off line use.

ZWOWz from #71 on will only be available there. She's also going to have a beginners series available, and there will be an new cardio oriented series: ZSHRED.

Wow, no more free workouts after ZWOW 70. I'm glad she's managed to establish herself outside Bodyrock.tv and her ex husband but I'm not inclined to do any subscriptions because I don't really trust myself to do them all. This is another reason I prefer DVDs to streaming.

That said, ZShred sounds very interesting and $10 is very reasonable compared to some other things out there. Maybe once I finish my love affair with Montenegro Method I'll check this out.

I noticed there have been a lot of nasty comments on Zuzana's page regarding zGym. There are a few people who have calculated that she could make x amount of dollars per month and that the subscribers would be funding her extravagant lifestyle, blah, blah, blah. IMO, I think it's pretty unfair. Any thoughts?

I do, too: She deserves to get paid for what she does and personally I think the price is more than fair. I understand the dollar translation may be more expensive elsewhere, but she lives here. And I think anyone trying to guilt her into not getting paid for her work can find another channel or create their own workouts.

Without getting too political, there are some areas where I believe in more socialism, but this is not one of them. :/

I think it is unfair too. I read comments on Youtube about her being so wrong for making people pay for her workouts and that she is a sellout. I'm thinking if she wants to set up a monthly pay site then that is her prerogative and if you don't like it don't pay for it.

People are showing their true colors:
They loved her when it was free and they didn't have to put any skin in the game
Now that she is going to a pay site she is EVIL.

I didn't use her Youtube workouts because I don't like working from my computer unless I have too, so I probably won't pay for her site. I do think 10.00 is reasonable. I did purhase her cardio and will purchase her weight DVD.

I say more power to her. If somemone gets paid for doing what they love then I am happy for them. That is how it should be.

I'm willing to bet a subscription those are fans of the new Bodyrock and the ex husband. I mean, gee, forget the fans, she should just curl up and die alone, right? (very sarcastic).

She puts out really good workouts and some of the cheapest DVDs out there. She has a right to make an honest living and her lifestyle, based on her furniture, is hardly 'extravagant'. Plus living in LA is expensive no matter how you slice it.

I plan on doing the ZGym rotation as it is written but adding ZWOWs everyday. I want to do 1-70 and I estimate that will take me 12 weeks.

Some of the Zwows are better than others. Be sure to keep notes so when you go to revisit, you only do the ones you liked.
