Exclamation VF Challenge: Don't be a part of the problem, be a part of the solution!

I challenge every VFer to post more! How about posting a new thread once each week? If many VFers did that, we'd have tons of new posts. You know you have that burning question. That gripe about Leslie's chatter or Cathe's cueing, etc.

Or, how you love, love, love burpees and mountain climbers.

Or, how you keep working out despite the setbacks of aging, illness and/or injury. (VFers are so inspiring sometimes!)

I could even go for a nice train wreck thread. Two words: Tracy Anderson...

Who wants to play?

I'll play. I just started a thread about a kundalini yoga series on you tube.

I love the idea of there being more posts. I really miss the board being more active.

Thanks for starting the thread

Sherry

Ah, Sherry, you are most definitely NOT part of the problem.

I post pretty much every day on my two check ins and occasionally on GD....I rarely start threads though unless it’s the yoga check in.

Great idea.

We used to have Fun Friday threads, I loved those.

This really is a great idea. I don't like seeing how slow this forum has become. There was another thread a few days ago about new members not being able to join VF for years! That certainly isn't helping the situation. I'll try to think of some gripes I can start a thread about. I'm actually a pretty boring vidiot. Walking is my main form of cardio and I sprinkle in a little pilates, MR, KCM or Callanetics in a few times a week.

Yup, or I type out a thread or response and lose it (always typing on my tablet these days and it's so much more cumbersome). But I've never been one to start a thread 'just because'. I don't stream and I don't buy new fitness instructors (or even know who they are any more) so there isn't that much for me to say that's interesting or topical any more. And I guess I'm using to thinking that just wasted band length or whatever - is that still a thing these days? Tbh I don't chatter needlessly in real life either. Ah well, let's see if I kill this thread, lol.

We haven't had a locked controversial or off topic thread in a long time. I can think of a few things right off the top of my head.

You didn’t kill the thread! I’m often typing on my phone so same deal with the frustration of losing posts.

I DO start threads but they rarely go anywhere. I promise if you get all brave and start a thread I’ll post to it. I think a lot of us are in the same boat when it comes to using old workouts. I still love mine, the older the better. My point is that we’d relate to a post you made about an older workout.

I’m also not sad that we haven’t had a lot of controversy over threads. It makes for a busy board but not the kind of busy I’m interested in.

Yes Pat, I do too.

I was just being lighthearted and trying to be humorous with my comment, certainly not blaming anyone. I'm not the most prolific thread starter by any means. It was just fun coming on here a couple of weeks ago and seeing several pages of new threads for awhile. I know everyone is busy and doesn't always have something they feel is worth starting a thread about, myself included.
