Thanks so much for posting this! I just sent Cody an email. I've had Find Your Practice for a while but rarely use it because it's such a hassle doing workouts on my computer!

Pat,

I don't think USB is inferior to DVD, but a lot of us still really prefer DVD over other formats. As others have posted, it's a hassle to have to play workouts on the computer. I don't like it because the screen is smaller, I can't get the sound to play as loud as my TV, I have to get the laptop and bring it to the room where I workout, etc. Popping in a DVD is just simpler.

Cher, I've had Find your Practice and Tony G's Yoga Elementals for almost a year and I only did two practices from the Vytas set for this very reason. I am so, so, so happy Udaya put them on DVD for me.

Pat,

The problem was the USB required the computer to be able to play the files. If they were just video files on the USB, you could simply plug them into any USB port on your DVD player or TV and play them directly. That's what I thought they were when I ordered the sets. Not so! Requiring the computer to play them made them next to useless for me.

Like Kim said, putting them on DVD is even easier.

I wonder how many complaints Udaya got about this format.

Adding to this response (which is a good answer), the computer must be able to read the file. Some older computers cannot read the file which means you have to find a program that will work with both the USB and the computer.

Ackkk!! Such a potentially good idea (USB) gone terribly wrong!

Wonderful and for all of the reasons mentioned above! I have the USB of Tony's practices and although it works perfect for me, I know it doesn't work that well for others.

Cody at Udaya is amazing!! He has helped me considerably. Udaya is awesome!

Can you download the practices from the USB stick to your computer and then make your own DVD's from them?
