Workouts with Pull Ups and Push Ups

My body seems to respond well to these exercises, although I'm not very good at them . Given my large library, there may be some workouts I missed that include these exercises. What are you favorite workouts that include pull ups and push ups? I have done the following:
  • Cathe STS
  • RIPT 90
  • RIPT90 Fit
  • MetRX

I think P90X has them, but I have not done P90X.

P90X Chest & Back is pretty much all pull-ups and push-ups.

You do a round and then you do it all again! Some folks do "halvsies" and just do the first round.

P90x Legs and Back was the first P90x workout i ever did on the advice of a fellow VFer/Yaya. i traded to get this and 2 others, and finally bought the entire set. the halfsies that Alta mentions is really easy to do from these discs - you just hit the "skip" button - although the disc is not programmable, this is the next best thing.

other workouts that include pullups:
Tony Horton P90x2: PAP Upper, Total Body
Tony Horton P90x: Upper Bodu Plus, Total Body Plus
Tony Horton One on One Chest Back & Balls, Back and Belly, Recovery 4 Results
Michelle Austin Fluidity Advanced Workout, - using the fluidity barre from a "horizontal" position
Scott Helvensten Navy Seal Strength workout
Sagi Kalev Body Beast Bulk Back
Saundra Koulourides Horizontal Conditioning Bootcamp

Steve Maxwell is great and really offers programs that get straight to business:

1.) Steve Maxwell - Ultimate Upper Body Pull Up Workout
---also uses gymnastic rings (very affordable and will take your strength to new heights)

Clip

2.) Steve Maxwell: The Spartacus Workout-- this one also needs Indian clubs, KBs and plyo box (you can use a step)

Clip

3.) Steve Maxwells - 300 Spartan workout clip
---this is a separate dvd from his Spartacus workout

You can use pull-up assist bands to help you progress and that really keeps these programs within reach. Plenty of room to grow

I was going to suggest this too since I just did Chest & Back this morning.

P90X does a lot of push-ups and pull-ups. You does as many reps as you can in the time is allowed.

The Chest and Back disc has
Types of Push-ups
Standard
Military
Wide fly
Decline
Diamond
Dive-bomber

Pull-ups
Wide Front
Reverse grip
Closed grips

It also has other back exercises
Heavy pants (rows)
Lawnmowers (one arm rows)
Back fly's

Chest, Shoulder & Tricep disc
Slow motion 3 in 1 push ups (Standard, Wide, Military 12 reps each then a 12 rep bonus do them fast or slow)
Plange push ups (kinda similar to military)
Floor flys (Start at top of pushup position then slide one hand out while other is stationary, do push up return to to start position. Do 4 on right then 4 left. repeat) you use a slider or towel if on hardwood floors.
Two-Twitch Speed push-ups (you do for 4 slow and then 3 fast repeat)
Side to side push ups
One Arm push-ups
Clap or plyo push-ups
One Arm Balance push -ups

Back & Bicep Disc
Wide Front pull-ups
Switch grip pull-ups (reverse/closed grip)
Corn Cob pull-ups (At top of wide grip pull up, slide head to to right hand, then slide head all the way to left hand. Move head away from bar then back to center)
Towel pull-ups (Put one hand on bar while other hand is grasping a towel. Switch towel hand every 3 pull ups)
Chin ups
Max rep pull ups (You pick one of the above to do again)

Legs & Back Disc
Reverse chin ups
Wide front pull ups
Close grip overhand pull ups
Switch Grip pull ups
Repeat again

Another one is Tony Horton's 22 Minute Hard Corps, which I am doing right now. The Resistance 1 workout has both pull-ups and push-ups.

Cathe's Gym Style Chest and Triceps starts with drop sets of push ups, starting with 16, then 14, and so on, with ten second rests between.

I always start out thinking I can do these, and end up not being able to do the rest of the workout because my shoulder can't handle it. Every. Single. Time.

So Bubbles I have to ask - What apparatus do you use for pull-ups? I am looking for something other than a door gym. My door/door frames aren't strong enough.

And I agree with the P90X3 recommendations!
