Kerry's yoga and pilates routines were strong but gentle. She eases you into things but at the end of the yoga it went right from standing to shavasana. I needed some transition there as well.

Yesterday I did the Butts and Guts Standing + Ball Abs premix, and it actually didn't seem as hard as I remembered, so I foolishly added on an upper body Muscle Max premix. Stick a fork in me...I'm done. A couple of easy yogas after that but no walk.

I didn't feel sore today, but the heat and humidity were there by 6:30 am making it a sweaty run.

I am really struggling and the horrid humidity and heat are a big part of it. I'm sad, cranky, no energy, no motivation.

Since our AC just died, I am right there with you.

Of course since it's 4th of July week, businesses have Friday off, so we'll most likely be sweating until next week.

Ugh, Sandy, of course it has to go out during the hottest stretch! Hope you don't have to wait too long.

Gone Adventuring pilates workout was another level. Nothing traditional here but it was good. I can see mixing these in periodically but doing a rash of them - I don't think I have the strength!

Wasn't a fan of Blissasana Yoga. Pretty background - but who's watching while doing yoga?! Has music throughout practice - but rap with my yoga - not very zen. It was flowy on the top and static on the bottom if that makes any sense. Would I try another one? Probably and then make a final decision.

This morning I took Cyric for his short walk through the swimming pool that is our air lately. Hate it! Anyway, I dislike walking him before 8 bc there are so many other dogs out so we are constantly turning around to avoid them so he doesn't bark like a crazy dog. After we got back I ate breakfast and had my quiet time (meditation, Bible study) and then went out for a hot and sweaty 1.81 mile walk on my own. This afternoon I finally did some yoga again for the first time since Saturday. I pulled out an old comfortable one, Rodney Yee Power Yoga: Flexibility.

I drove an hour to meet a friend to go walking today and then we grabbed lunch. I hadn't seen her in 6 months so it was really good to catch up. I felt a little bad bc hubby was off today but we'll have the wknd together. Cyric was total wiggle-butt excited to see me. What can be better than that?? I mean, it would be awfully weird if hubby was wiggle-butt excited.

No AC since last Tue pm, and it's been 90 for a high every day, 70 overnight only, so I am so glad the installers just arrived!!! I hope by tonight it's all cool and low humidity in my bedroom for a good night's sleep.
