Hi everyone, yes that means you who are reading this.

I'm happy thrilled it's Christmas at my house for this year.

I got my Reformer on Friday and today I did my first official program.
I joined the Lighterliving web site. Doing the 15 day trial but I already know it's a keeper.

Now to mark down in my journal what I did and how it felt.

Hello,

Walk
TBL: Pilates w/a Purpose, Day 2: Lengthen & Strengthen

Cheri, I'm enjoying the challenge! The shorter workouts are a nice change of pace for this week.

Carol, I do like it being lighter in the mornings! I wish I could have it both ways.

Cheryl, nice you got a reformer! What kind did you by, and what program are you following?

Linda, no thank you on the DVD, it's nice of you to offer!

Donna, it sounds like you have a nice, gentle combination right now. I'm glad it's working for you! ((hugs))

Cheryl, I just looked into the Lighter Living website. Is that what you're using for your reformer?

Hi Everyone,

This morning was the 3rd Mile from the Mile in the Morning DVD - it focused on legs and had some lunges and squats thrown in.

Also, Robin's Pilates w/ a Purpose Day 3.

Yesterday I took a walk at work again - it is a slower time at work and the weather is still nice for walking.

Waves, everyone.

Cheri - I am enjoying it! It has been a very do-able plan for me this week! I miss Robin, I wish her site wasn't so darn expensive. I think I need to incorporate some Classical Stretch into my routines along w/ Pilates - I'm very tight in many areas. So, for next week I'm thinking of maybe alternating cardio-CS-Pilates days.

Carol - we all need a day off from time to time.

Waves,

Donna

Donna, I'm liking this challenge too!

Cheri, she really gives you a good workout in a short amount of time.

Carol, no worries!

Waves!

Late to the party! Trying to catch up...

Friday Nov 1: 30 min. walk/read
Saturday: JS Youtube 16 min. Total Body (that was deceptively hard!), 10 min. step in evening
Sunday: rest
Monday: 20 min. walk/read
Tuesday: 30 min. walk/podcasts at piano lessons

Nothing yet today but I just printed out a couple of workout calendars from Jesssica to work on, including her new holiday schedule.

Linda, welcome! No worries on not doing tons of pilates. I only do it as "pilates-inspired" from Jessica Smith and no one has kicked me out of the group yet!

Donna, prayed!

Cheri, not sure what nasty allies are but prayed for you!

Waving to all!

Yes it is. 2nd and I still like it. I didn’t know rebounding is so challenging. Just getting out of breath. Had to stop a few times and tell myself I can do more later.

Hardest part is getting g set up with the water, paper, computer. But I wish I had the good feelings going into it as I do when I’m finished

Got a new water bottle and this is so much better than the one that broke. Ya I was not too happy since I’m two weeks over the 30 days. The good that came of the break is a larger bottle, rubber straw and it’s not top heavy. Wish this was like face book so I could show pictures. It’s too much to go up load to photo bucket, get the url, come and post it. I must not complain. Just voicing my whatever you call it
