Did you really keep these DVDs?

While searching for a review, I pulled up this old thread...

http://forum.videofitness.com/showthread.php?t=139675

Thought it might be interesting to have folks review their "never will I part with..."

I still have most of these. I took my Supreme Pilates to Goodwill after it almost gave me a concussion, so the Ellen Croft videos went with it. And I did pare down some Ellen Barretts that were too fast or too wrist intensive. But whatever volume I STW'd, I made up for by collecting more OOP Winsor Pilates.

In other words despite reducing my collection I have more DVDs. I think that can only happen here.

I still have all 106 of my FIRM DVDs and I still do them all. I do have some FIRM Parts on VHS that I did not repurchase on DVD and even though I still have a working VCR, I never do them.

I zoomed through the whole thread to see if I had contributed and as I'd sort of guessed, I didn't chime in...... because I seem to very rarely get rid of things, just in case! I'm trying to get better about realizing there are some things I really won't revisit.

Funny how our tastes evolve! I still have my Erich Sciffmanns, Altar of the Heart, & some old Classical Stretches, but never use them. I rarely use any dvds any more, mostly streaming as I travel a lot.

I still do yoga almost daily but it’s gentler, have two streaming subscriptions. I prefer shorter practices and no power yoga. I traded or sold my Yoga Shakti & Eoin Finns as I just can’t do repetitive planks & chats any more because of arthritis in my wrists & thumbs.

I still do a lot of CS/Essentrics & I teach it now. I stream the newer workouts on days I don’t teach. The method has changed a lot.

ETA: These were on my list:

Cathe's Pure Strength
Cathe's Slow and Heavy
Cathe's Terminator
my Christi Taylor's (unless it was for a Cathe, then I would immediately get it back)
Soul Sweat!
Anything from Althea Lawton Thompson. Love her attitude

Haha! I still have mine. In fact, I even have backups of some I return to these over and over again.

Ha! This is great. This was me:

My Les Mills for sure!
My Eoin Finn Yoga but most of my other Yoga dvds also!!!
Insanity!
The few Cathe's that I have.
Another vote for Cardio Coach workout.
P90x and XPlus sets.

And I still have them all but I could probably include a few more that I would really hate to part with. In the 10 years since the original post, I've managed to have a pretty nice fitness dvd collection.

Not there, but then again, I seldom get rid of things. In fact, sometimes I forget what I own and buy an accidental duplicate.
