I love the yoga instructor on you tube from the channel Yoga Upload. She had her second baby when her first child was a toddler. She apologized for being late with posting for her Q and A session, but her baby wanted to feed later than usual. She said he was in the room with her and she was reaching back to rock him while filming and hoped she would be able to finish filming. Multitasking at its best
She posts new practices way less often than before kids. I am fine with it. There are still many I have not done and I have favorites I do repeatedly. I am grateful for the incredible amount of free workouts available on you tube.

This sounds like my DH. Can't take your eyes off of them for a second, especially when they get to be mobile. It's the most exhausting thing in the world and I feel like I get nothing accomplished anymore. LOL

violingal3, my ex-husband never understood why I couldn’t make calls to utilities, insurance companies, etc. while I was at work. I worked a switchboard. He would say, “Well, you’re on the phone all day anyway!”

Jessica has so many great workouts on YouTube. You can do a different one every day for weeks until she feels ready to return. I actually prefer her older videos.

Oh I can only imagine how hard it is to take care of a baby LOL

Pgun3, I got your joke and you weren't offensive at all.
Glad you weren't offended. Heck if I had kids and I could stay home and not work to take care of them why the heck not?

I used to babysit when I was younger but that is I am sure nothing like the real thing. I know it can be a full time job. I just couldn't imagine have a full time job on top of it.

I’m sure it requires some number of hours just to maintain the business she already has.

You never get the time back with that first baby. It is special. I can’t blame anyone for wanting to have that time, if they want to and are financially able to.

It would be one thing if she had a paid streaming service with nothing new for over a year (have seen this enough with others and it is justifiably annoying no matter the reason for the break), but that isn’t the case.

If and when Jessica decides to come back, I'll definitely check her out, if not - it's OK too. Life goes on.

Agree with you all. Maybe Jessica's not 'struggling' with the demands of raising a baby. Maybe she's just enjoying the hell out of being with her daughter, making her the top priority and adoring watching her grow. I hope so, I hope she's having a ball and loving life!

Regardless of when (or if) she returns, I agree that she's generously left us with a library of hundreds of high-quality workouts, free and otherwise, that we can use forever. I do believe she will be back, but she really doesn't owe us a thing.

I think she kept that private, but I could be wrong.

I had forgotten how much babies take out of you as mine are 31 & 24. My daughter recently had a baby and I'm reminded just how much effort they are even though I just love that little baby to pieces
