YouTube Workout Recommendations

Hi Everyone!

I have been using YouTube to workout lately doing Zumba videos. I want to try something new. I workout in the AM before work and would like to try something fun that offers a complete workout and could help me tone and burn fat. Could anyone recommend workouts on YouTube I could try? TIA

Are you just looking for dancing? Jessica Smith has a great youtube channel. She has strength training, barre, walking, etc.

Thanks for the recommendation! I like her a lot so definitely going to look her up. I was looking to branch out from dancing and mix it up a little. I think I’ve been doing too much cardio and need to include some toning to firm up a little

Karen Voight Cardio followed by light strength training

These range from 30 minutes to almost an hour. I wasn’t sure how long you wanted to workout :-) The barre workout doesn’t have much cardio, but put it in for variety.

Thanks so much! I love the variety, you ladies have given me a great place to start and some good motivation to mix things up! That’s exactly the range I was looking for too, 30 minutes to an hour. I am excited to pick something out for my workout this morning

My current 3 favorites:

The Fitness Marshall - 4 minute dance videos. Fabulous, funny, great music.

Lazy Dancer Tips - 10-30 minute ballet/barre.

Redefining Strength - She demos a variety of different types of weight training, each with a given theme. I keep it on mute, pause it when she shows one I like, do it while listening to a podcast or music, then resume it to go to the next exercise.

I highly recommend FigureRobics the main workouts are in Jung DaYeon YT channel.

These workouts are either toning or cardio depending on ones strength level. In my case I don’t get DOMS afterwards, these are more a Full Body touch up for me. However, someone who have been doing dancing or body weight stuff can use these as a main Full Body toning workout. Lower body is worked unweighted very well in all the FigureRobics series workouts. Upper Body is worked nicely too.

I’m trying some MC Fit series workouts this weekend and may be able to compare. I know FigureRobics 4 30 mins workouts get the job done.
