Did you try T-Tapp's alfalfa and body brushing? These were key for me for hormonal balance. The supplements in Lara Briden's book optimized the alfalfa, but that was the main action for me. I didn't do Lara Briden's diet suggestions, but her point with them was to avoid inflammatory foods, so I restarted the Blood Type Diet, which is my preferred anti-inflammatory diet. In addition I found being consistent with green smoothies really helped me, and I think it is due to the detoxifying effect in addition to getting the nutrition (I learned about green smoothies from T-Tapp).

Bought and read the Blood Type Diet, tried all the suggestions for my blood type and have been on an anti-inflammatory diet for years. Nothing has stopped my symptoms. I switch up my diet about every two months (still trying to eat clean) to try different things, and each gives me worsening symptoms. Have made and tried and bought several types of green smoothies, and they only make my symptoms worse unfortunately. I get migraines and extreme breast swelling for days after having a green smoothie. I appreciate the suggestions, but like I said, I've tried nearly everything that's out there for excess estrogen in perimenopause, but my body just refuses to cooperate. It's so utterly frustrating -- it's like a second full-time job trying to figure out why nothing helps. And the worst part is I likely have more years of this since I'm still having fairly regular cycles. |

Lori - I'm so sorry you are going through all this! This may sound crazy, but have you tried all natural feminine hygiene products and/or a diva cup? I only ask b/c I get the Wellness Mama's newsletters, and she mentioned this in one of her recent letters.
https://wellnessmama.com/25415/probl...-pads-tampons/ It may be a long shot - but maybe??? Donna |
