MotionTraxx is another podcast with bpm and various other workouts- you can sign up and download from their site, but it is much easier ot download them through itunes. You can then just straight out transfer them since they download as mp3s.

I find that jog.fm is the place to go for finding popular music in my bpms.

Some songs in my 135 to 135 bpm playlist include

Put Your Lights On - Santana
Fool to Cry - Rolling Stones
several Nickelback songs that I'm now totally sick of.
And I know there were one or two Black Eyed Peas and maybe Airplanes by B.O.B.

I agree - the "Biggest Loser" and (many) Shape CDs are Power Music. To listen to audio clips go to: http://www.workoutmusic.com/

Re: Shape Workout Music .... some are not covers. Look for Shape Fitness Music ..... "Walk 3" and not "Walk Three." The CDs with the number spelled out are Power Music ..... numeric ones are original artists. These are nice because you get warm up & cool down music as well. Shape Fitness Walk 1 is really very slow .....

Check out Rock my Run. I just downloaded an mp3 with 130bpm. It's an hour long.

I have always thought someone could make a fortune if they invented a program that would analyze all the bpms in your IPod/music player and then let you select the songs at your desired bpm for your workout. I think a lot of people would appreciate that!

I use my husband's metronome to manually analyze songs in my playlists. There are online versions too. Here's one: http://www.metronomeonline.com/

Normandy, these Pitbull songs are all around 128 bpm:
Back in Time
Give me Everything
I Know You Want Me

(Disclaimer - I love most anything Pitbull for walking/rebounding. )

If you don't mind a song in Spanish/Portuguese there's Danza Kuduro (one of my alltime favorite Zumba tunes): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uh0ag94APF0

That is such a lively, happy video -- it really makes you feel llike dancing and jumping around -- I have to see if it makes me feel like walking!

You folks are all so wonderful (as always) with these great suggestions, and I see where I'm going to be spending hours tomorrow listening and listening and listening -- maybe even finding time to get some exercise in!! Thanks so very, very much

I'll have to check this out.....

If you don't want to download anything, this BPM counter works well .... you play your song & tap the keyboard. The BPM's appear on the screen.
