Good for you!

I too, used to pooh-pooh barre until I got into it accidentally and had to get all my pants taken in.

I also believe that barre has an important prehab effect for those of us with hip issues, so it's not all about vanity.

Funny!

I was just having this convo w/ someone today... barre is an exercise in pain management -- burns like hell while you're doing it and you learn to embrace the pain. Then, when you get to a point where your muscles no longer burn/shake, you can just tweak your form to get lower/straighter/higher/tighter until it hurts all over again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

It really does grow with you. I experienced new muscle engagement/activation today during V-core. Quite exciting, in a burning/shaking kind of way.
