I hope this will mean the end of crappy music on workouts!

Since I'm so out of touch with pop culture, I must admit that if someone says "hey, that's a really good pop song playing!", and I happen to recognize it, I won't be able to name the artist or the title (since I don't listen to it on the radio/Pandora or buy it from iTunes), but I will associate it with my butt burning during a barre-inspired class at the work gym! Lots of yoga teachers here in the SF Bay Area are spinning music too during class -- I don't love it or hate it, but I do prefer to have practice occasionally with just a teacher's instructions.

I simply cannot workout well without motivating music.
