I was thinking of this thread the other day while I binged on NCIS LA. Seems like most episodes show some of the characters working out in their gym.

I think it was Richard Simmons.

I also thought of this thread last night watching an old Hart to Hart episode. Stefanie Powers was on all fours flinging her leg around at the beginning. Hurt my back watching her. Lol. The whole episode featured bodybuilders at a competition with all the posing. Someone kept trying to steal a 300 lb barbell because it was apparently made out of gold (‘cause that makes sense). The old fitness equipment throughout among other things was cracking me up!!

I winced when I watched her!
And the belted machine shaking the fat was funny!

I know right! Fitness sure has improved (for the most part) over the years. Too funny.

Not a TV show, but... in the movie Clueless, there is a scene where they're doing Buns of Steel (I assume), and one girl says her buns don't feel like steel.

I can relate.

I literally just watched this yesterday, lol. (My kids aren't home and I was feeling nostalgic...)

Totally not important but I actually am watching the Criminal Minds episode now where the woman was doing step in her bedroom when she was murdered, so evidently it was on both shows! As soon as I saw it I thought of this thread.

ETA: Oops, I just reread the thread and saw this was already established.
