Question about online support for weight loss....

So, I am wondering about online resources for support with others trying to lose the last 10-15 lbs or so. I know we can't talk about diet here so VF is unfortunately out. I am looking for something a little smaller anyway. I like check-ins but if they are too big I find that I can't keep everyone straight and the relationships there get away from me and then I don't feel connected and eventually drop out. Anyone know of anything that meets that criteria? I am not doing any particular weight loss "plan," either, just trying to be smart and keep active but I though it might help to have support.

It's been a while since I was there, but Sparkpeople.com was a good resource when I logged my eats and wanted specific check ins. I found a small group that worked really well for me at the time. I did a search on the groups I was looking for and found an already formed group, (which I think works better) b/c there's not a lot of drop outs like there is when you start a new group. There were a lot of resources available so you really need to weed through it all and figure out what it is you want. However, it's been a while since I've been there so I don't know how much it's changed.

Here's one I have come across several times when Googling different workouts, as the members also tend to talk about the workouts they are doing and what they've been successful with:

http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/

The name may turn some people off, but it seems to offer a great deal of support for weight loss (there's a whole section of the forum dedicated to support, and is even broken down into sub-topics), so may be what you are looking for!

I've used them all and I like My Fitness Pal a lot! It's easy to import recipes, etc. I highly recommend them.

I will check myfitnesspal out. I am already checking in at 3fatchicks. There isn't lot of action on the featherweights so not sure it will be what I am looking for but there are a couple of ladies checking in. Will see how it goes.

I have a check-in in the Weight Loss Support forum at 3FC's. I am also looking to lose the last 10-15. It's an extremely busy check-in, if you are looking for that. In fact, I stay overwhelmed from it. LOL

Diana, do you use the same handle over there at 3FC?
