I found the www.bettyhoops.com site. It offers the DVD alone for $14.98. It also offer hoops, nice looking ones for not much more than Gaiam. Don't know about shipping though.

Coming back after a VERY long absence.
I have the Betty Hoops DVD and don't care for it very much. It's nice, but not very exciting. There's another one that I really want to get called Hoop Dance Fusion. I'm just too poor right now to buy anything (so why did I just bring myself back to Video Fitness?!). Take a look at http://hooping.org/ for everything hoops. Especially check out their online videos: http://www.hooping.org/archives/cat_videos.html. Some of them are incredible! My favorite to watch is "Hooping For Whirled Peace," under "2005 Hooping.org Video Festival." I used the instructions I found on hooping.org to make larger, heavier hoops (MUCH easier to use than the cheap ones for children), and I use them all the time. I do simple things with one inside in front of the tv, but I usually use them outside and have fun trying out new tricks (though I haven't gotten very far). I am often joined by my 9-year-old daughter and some of my friends. Hooping's a load of fun to do with music playing. Deirdre |
