Pushups used to bother my wrists too. I always use yoga blocks now to do pushups.

Yes that makes sense. I can even do them off the steps but it's something about doing them off the floor. I can see the yoga blocks helping with that.

Samesies. I use my yoga blocks for so many things now: my very modified push-ups, my very modified planks and superman planks, sitting on for CS/Ess stretches, to help get up/down off the floor for floor work, sitting on for pigeon stretching/pretzel stretching. I bought them on a whim at Target and now I use them all the time!

I use Tony Horton's PowerStands when I do pushups. They really help my wrists. This is what they look like:

I don't do yoga but so many other good uses for them. I think you may have sold me

Ha! I don't do yoga either but I have found so many uses for them! Some other times I use them: to rest my head on during floor work, or put them out in front of me during hamstring stretches to hold on to, or if I don't want to pull my step bench out for elevated lunges to put my foot on, or in bridge to put my foot on, or when a workout calls for a playground ball I just use one of them instead.

Great ideas! I like using for elevated lunges because I hate lugging out my step. Resting my head during floor walk is a great idea too.
