Best Place to sell DVDs

I have a huge collection that I would like to pare down. I thought about trading, but don't want to add anymore unused dvds. I used to sell on Firm Yas Yas, but have not done so in six years. So, where do you sell your unwanted dvds? Thanks!

ebay or amazon. however, fees are pretty high at either place.

For dvds that you post people can request them and you get a credit. Then you can use your credits to get other dvds and they are not jjust workout dvds. Hope this helps you out.

I prefer amazon. I know some think the fees are steep but it is so easy. Just list it and wait for amazon to tell you it is sold and then ship it. They deposit the money directly into your bank account. So far so good. No problems. I like having amazon between me and the buyer or seller for that matter.

I'm in the same boat. I was going to give Craigslist a try this week and see if I got any buyers. I like that you don't have to worry about packaging and shipping, but it does mean you see the buyer face to face when they come to buy.

You also have to possibility of arranging your schedule to meet them, and they don't show up.

I found that there is just not enough of a market for fitness DVDs where I live. When I tried selling them at yard sales people were willing to pay maybe $1! So I sold them on amazon for a much better price even considering fees. I have also found amazon to be an excellent place to sell cookbooks that are in very good condition. I got some very good prices for out of print cookbooks.

Question about Amazon...

I have just posted a few DVD's on Amazon Market Place, but I still have a few Cathe's that aren't in their inventory and there is no UPC or any other code on the dvd. How can I post these?

Thanks!
Susan

You can only list items without a UPC code or prior listings (someone else has it listed) if you become a Pro Merchant seller:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...nodeId=1161306

You may also want to check in the "sports and outdoors" categories. There are some dvds listed in there that are not included with the regular exercise/fitness dvd listings.

Which Cathe dvds are you trying to list? I'd be glad to help you search and post links if I find any.

ETA: There are 75 Cathe dvds listed in the Sports and Outdoors Category:

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss...athe+friedrich

Good luck!

I think Firm Ya Ya's works great for selling or buying!

There's a ready group of buyers who want fitness dvds.
With non-credit card Paypal it's pretty much like trading, but you get money.
Paypal is easy and works great (for me, always safe). And I think if the person sends you the money as a gift there's no charge to you.

And we're supporting our community of fellow vidiots!
