Ok, I just finished the Mix workout and loved it! It was 55 minutes long and uses a mat, set of 2-3lb dumbbells, stability ball, and small pilates ball. There are little cardio bursts throughout the toning sections. These bursts do involve some burpees and mountain climbers. She really fried out my inner thighs. I was able to use 3lb dumbbells for this workout. I previewed Ballet Box and that one looks good too. It has quite a bit of burpees and mountain climbers throughout. I will preview Tabata Sculpt later. If you thought DB was to fast and frantic I think you will love these. They are slower but still challenging and you do get a cardio effect from them.

Are there clips of these anywhere?
ETA: I've seen a few clips -- are these dvds all on that white background or are they using the footage that seems to be in a studio?

Yes, the background is plan white (exactly what you see on their dvd promo) the music is really faint and i couldn't really hear it. I was working hard anyway to notice.

Thanks for the review. I was thinking of getting these but had a feeling they would have a lot of mountain climbers because she relies on them to get the heart rate up. That mixed with burpees, and I'm definitely going to pass on these.

What level would one say these are . . . are they advanced?

Thanks kariev34 for the review! Yay for mountain climbers and burpees! Can't wait for Mary to have the clips up. Would you consider them as hard as DB? Advanced?
