Is it considered an aerotone or AWT workout or whatever they call it? Would you consider a cardio benefit as well as muscle?

I just got "Ripped" and I absolutely love it. I got it at the very end of December but consider it my best buy of 2005 also. Not to much of a cardio benefit--I worke my HRM the first time I did it and I think I was in my HR under 10 minutes. I'm going to do this at least once a week in conjunction with SI6/SS/P90M/P90x workouts. I can't wait for more workouts from Jari. Anybody have any news?

No, Ripped isn't an AWT workout. It's a light weight/hi rep workout.

I love that workout. I did it 3x/week for about 6 weeks. The only reason I stopped is because I wanted to use the new TLT's for a bit. When I stopped, I was using 15lb for most of the barbell work but 20lb for the deadlifts.

I have only been able to do it 1x a week because I am sore for days afterwards. I do 20 lbs on the barbell.

Last time I did it, I used the same weight as the guy (or maybe 5# more?).

This is what I've been using, also!

I love this

I love this workout. I like Jari so much. Some feel this workout is too easy, but most of the harder ones bore me, or wipe me out so badly that I avoid doing them. I got this w/o for Christmas. I am determined to do it 3x a week for 3 months and see what happens. Before I start Ripped I do 15-20 minutes of high intensity cardio to get my HR up. This helps me to keep burning calories throughout Ripped. I can't wait for more from Jari. Anyone have any news?

I think Jari is still on track for releasing her next new dvd the end of February. Only a few weeks away! But the release date has less to do with her and more to do with the production company so don't hold me to it.

I love this workout, too. My barbell has 20lbs for the tricep work, and 30lbs for the chest/back work. Then I use weenie 5lbers for the shoulder work and it still kills me.
