That sounds like something I would like. I've wishlisted it for Mary's Black Friday sale.

I completely agree and am really enjoying this as a change of pace from Cathe. I could do with a little less chit chat from Rob, but he's encouraging and I LOVE that he talks about using the whole body for support when lifting, focusing not only on the muscles being worked, but posture overall. Fits right in with my big goal right now: improving my posture and alignment.

I thought that Rob gave some good form pointers too...what I wish he didn't say was things like "good job ladies" and "they are lifting as much as I am!" (said with a shocked tone).

At first I loooked at the clip at college. This was not listed as new release at Total Fitness. I went back today and looked at the longer clip. I don’t know anything about the man who is leading. All I care is the count since is hard to do it myself. I have a soft spot for these types of slow tempo workouts. I do increase strength even thought you may use less weight that you are use to due to longer time under tension. However, when I follow up with a traditional 2-2 count my weights are heavy as usual or heavier.

Not sure if get it now and change my follow up plan a bit

ETA: I also noticed 8 count tempo This is slower than Slow and Heavy and Slo-Mo. Slow and Heavy use more TUT on the contraction portion of the lift. Slow-Mo use equal TUT for the most part.

Thanks all for the feedback!!

The counts on Ripped & Jacked are 2 reps of 8-8, 2 reps of 6-2, and 4 reps of 4-4 for a total of 8; there are 2 rounds of 8 reps for each exercise.

I love this workout. I've done it quite a few times now and it seems to get harder each time. The last time I did it I was sore for several days!

Thanks for the info. This is a game changer for slow tempo lifting workouts

I think I can combine this one with some Cathe circuits workouts in a rotation. Circuits like Body Max 2, LIC and Drill Max to add some fun factor to the week I’m exploring my options...

If someone has a breakdown of each exercise per body part on hand I would like to see it
