Hmm...the clips seem a little too much 'déjà vu' to me: especially the music, which is stuff Cathe used years ago (and maybe also from some previous Ripped workouts?). I'm hoping there's something about it that will make it feel 'new.'

I agree that it looks almost too similar to her other workouts. I won't make a special effort to order it but if I see it at Ross while visiting the in-laws this holiday season, I'll pick it up.

I liked the first Ripped, ordered the other ones and cannot connect with them. I just don't like them. These are going in the "get rid of pile" I'm not the least bit tempted by anything else from Jari.

OK, the clip helped me decide. since it is similar to the others, and the others are not done much(although I am planning a no cathe rotation soon), I decided to cancel my order. If I find it dirt cheap somewhere(no Ross here), than I might get it.

I am very much looking forward to this workout. I LOVE slim and lean and body-pump style workouts in general, plus I am not a huge fan of compound moves, which I don't like Ripped to the Core too much. So this is right up my alley! Can't wait!

P.S. Thanks Toaster for your thorough review!

I don't even feel like looking at the clip, her recent workouts have been so disappointing. Especially the music.

Yeah, I think this does have way too much of a Slim & Lean vibe to it, and I will probably pass unless I pick it up cheap or in trade. One truly never can tell until they've actually done a workout.

I like RTTC and R1000 because they feel "different" in some way. I haven't done them much though, as when my PF was acting up I found that they (particularly R1000) irritated my foot, but I hope to get to them again soon. Slim & Lean, however, is one of the most boring workouts ever put out, IMO. Sorry, Jari and her fans, but it bores me to tears. The music, blech. Jari is somewhat uninspiring. She's a good instructor and seems to be very pleasant, I just wish she'd pep up a bit for her workouts, smile and convince me she's enjoying herself. The backgrounders seem a bit stiff. I think it's a solidly put together workout; I just can't get past the dread factor which is why it's on my trade list.
