The PT was working on an ankle injury during Ashley's 280 mile run for her charity, so I'm sure it will help your client.

I use it for the massage. At my age, I don't care what anyone thinks of my cellulite. The FB has really helped a knee issue which originates in my hamstrings. I use it to massage my hamstrings on that leg, then gently around the knee, with a little more attention to the inside of the knee and just above the inside of the knee. I go to about a one on the 1-10 pain scale, and I get ugly bruising on my inner thigh. I also use it on my back and lats and go to about a 2 on the pain scale and have had no bruising there. My N=1 experiment tells me that the stronger the underlying muscle, the less bruising (for me, of course, which I tried to indicate with the N=1). I've also been FB-ing by batwings to see if maybe some of that FB magic would make them disappear. Nothing yet, but I've only done that twice. |
