I have a Zip and think it is pretty accurate with regard to counting steps. I wear it clipped to the center of my bra. I also agree with those that said step count and mileage don't necessarily always equal out due to stride length and would say that this can happen with any pedometer. I really like the Zip; it is helping me get a much clearer picture of my (in)activity level versus my calorie intake and has been a real wake-up call.
