A stability ball question

If you only occasionally use your stability ball do you keep it inflated when not in use or do you only inflate it only when you use it and then deflate it after your done?

I don't use mine that much so I would like to not have it inflated all the time but am not sure it would be ok.

I keep mine inflated primarily because it is a PITA to inflate it "from scratch." I don't use mine all that often, but fortunately I have room to keep it in its inflated glory.

I would never use anything that I had to putz around with every time, lol, so both of my stability balls stay inflated. (I do have to add air on occasion as they seem to deflate a bit on their own.)

I had to inflate mine at a gas station air pump, and it has held its air pretty well for a few years now. When I tried to hand pump my old one, it was constantly deflating. My second one is also of a better quality, so that might be part of it.

So, obviously, I am not going to take it to the gas station to inflate it every time I want to use it. It used to live in the corner of the living room, but now I have half a closet dedicated to workout gear, and it lives in there.

I use mine to sit on in front of the computer at home, so it's constantly inflated.

Inflated. It nests on a step riser near my treadmill when I'm not using it.

Inflated. It hangs out on top of the roll away bed in the spare bedroom.

I love how everyone is saying where they keep their inflated ball when they aren't using it for a specific workout! I also have a heavy duty one that doesn't lose a lot of air (started with a Gaiam cheapo one, it deflated if you looked at it cross eyed). I keep mine in a cubby made between my barbell holder and a bookshelf, safely away from the cats, who find it fascinating but scary.

Both of mine stay inflated, and I don't use them too often. They just sort of roll around the basement for the most part. But I would never use them if I had to inflate every time.
