Pam, I actually call the one class "Twists to Unwind" b/c I have another twists class that focuses more on the idea of twisting from the core.

Sherry, did you wind up doing AMY4YW Forward Bends? That's probably my favorite from the DVD, although whenever I do any of the others, I'm reminded how much I like them all.

Cate, which Jill Miller practice did you do? I have her old Shoulder Shakti and like that, but some of her other videos feel like too much work to me.

Last night's class theme was Equanimity. I had started introducing the Buddhist 4 Immeasurables as themes last month, so this was the last one. I'm was surprised that several students were really familiar with the definition of equanimity; they seemed to enjoy it!

In addition to the desk practice at my office yesterday, I did the 20m segment from Yoga: Relief from Neck & Shoulder Pain last night.

Happy Friday!

Day 30 - my own meditation to try to convince myself to do a workout after coming home from the office. It didn't work, I fell asleep.

Beth, I have not done "forward bends" yet. I may do it tonight, or just do meditation today and save it for tomorrow. It does look like a lovely practice. I think I did it back when I first bought the dvd however many years ago.

Beth, the breathing primer I did was from Jill's Shoulder Shape up. It was about 16 minutes long. I needed to reconnect with my breath after having a cold/sinus infection this past month. I love Jill's YTU Quick Fix's for upper back to help loosen up. Some of her other practices are too much work for me as well. Who is the instructor from Yoga: Relief from Neck & Shoulder Pain? Is it a dvd? Thanks!

Cate this is the DVD, which is older (and I'm surprised I never reviewed it!):

I like Jill's Tune Up Rx and her ballwork, too! I prefer her shorter routines.

Pat, I often fall asleep during my own meditation too!

Sherry, I didn't realize it had been that long since you did that practice. I had expected Hip Openers to be my favorite on the DVD, but FF edged it out.

~My own yin stretch....half forward bend, side stretch over a bolster, deer pose, fire log, half frog & sphinx, intense shoulder stretch, twisted roots, half happy baby, legs up the wall

I won a hot stone massage & reflexology session in a Facebook contest by a local practitioner I’ve been to several times. I had the treatment today & it was fabulous.
