Hello - Just checking in (a bit long) - Page 2

Hi Tina. Welcome back. I don't post much so you probably don't recognize my name but wanted to say good for you for beginning to take care of yourself again.

I too have had a tough 18 months or so. Many, many things going on - husband up and quit his job with no warning then had what I consider a mild nervous breakdown. He's just now getting back to himself but still fragile. My sister's husband took his life in July 2018 and the aftermath has been just awful.

During that time I didn't work out as normal, I just didn't have the energy (emotional or otherwise) but am pretty much back to my routine now and feel a lot better.

Hugs to you. Life can suck everything out of you sometimes.

I gotta say, with my mom's health issue of Vascular-Alzheimer, has causes me to pause and assess how I care for myself. Figuring out how to not only take care of my body but also my brain. This has probably been the most stressful part of my year when it comes to looking forward into the future. Making new and better health decisions takes time for sure, without getting too hyper focused on just myself.
