Drat, I bought a Roku stick for a Christmas gift. Sounds like a waste of money now.

Depending on what other TV stuff you have going on, it might not be. Do you use purple player at all? I am now able to do my purple player workouts on the big screen TV (instead of laptop) thanks to my Roku stick (which I got for free with a sling subscription).

There isn't any problem between Roku and YouTube, is there? I just got a Roku Ultra and Youtube works great. Hoopla just added a Roku app, too

Well only if YouTube was the only channel you wanted to stream?

I have a Firestick and literally never use YouTube. I stream Beachbody on Demand, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix.... not a waste of $$ at all.

You can also now stream Les Mills on Demand through the firestick (app on Amazon) now also

Thanks for the comments - I keep forgetting there is a whole world out there besides Amazon. We're not just late to the party with TV streaming - we're only just getting our first smart phones!

Oooh, you have much excitement in your future. When I realized I could get purple player to work on my big screen it was a very happy moment.

Get a Roku, problem solved. You can have your Amazon content, your Youtube content, and tons of other channels.
