I thought that was a jump rope too. I zoomed in on the picture and now I think it's tubing with handles.
There are a lot of inquisitive people on her public Facebook page. It looks like Jessica was very active in the replies through her Summer of Strength rotation, but after that there were just a few update posts among the canned posts. |

With Cathe, I know the drill from pre-pre-sale to pre-sale to workout descriptions being released, premixes being released, clips released, how many updates we'll likely get about the dvds being produced and shipping logistics, to the DVDs actually arriving in my mailbox. I'm not saying all instructors should follow Cathe's lead (there seem to be complaints/constructive criticism about aspects of Cathe's presales every year so it's not without its own "controversies"), but I'm used to how things work with Cathe because she's been around so long and runs things a certain way. So is this normal for Jessica Smith new releases? In Jessica's defense, her December 17th newsletter did announce the Simply Stretch and Yoga+Pilates workouts (but I believe this was a few weeks after VF sleuths had discovered an upcoming listing for them on amazon...). In any case, I'm happy for more Jessica workouts however they're rolled out. |

“Tubing vs. jump rope speculation.” Only on VF, lol.
I’ve been working out with Jessica for about eight years. I buy her new releases every year. Usually the release is before Christmas, I think in November maybe. I always asked for it for Christmas. I think the dvds have always shown up on Amazon before they are ready to purchase. As for a check-in on her website, I learn about it in the email newsletter. But it’s possible it appears on the website prior to the email, but no one thought to look. The biggest difference this year is the later release, after Christmas, instead of before. I don’t think we would be noticing all this if it had been released at the end of November. There does seem to be a delay. Obviously, Covid is a factor. But other than that, I don’t know.

I'm just hoping for dvds. I am only planning on two buys this year - Jessica's new workouts and whatever Cathe comes up with. I talked myself out of the KCM dvds.
