Sophie and Jennifer, I'm ITA with both of you. In the last link 3.1 refers to an inverted "U" relationship. Bottom line? If some is good more may be good up to a point but then become a negative health factor. I recently attended a webinar by Dean Ornish through the AACVPR. That may be what I'm remembering. It was short and to the point. Gotta go exercise - hopefully not producing too much acid.

This is quite accurate but I would make small changes: add any exercise that requires getting up very early to the Acid list, & chocolate to the Alkaline list.

It is interesting though! I love thinking about this kind of stuff, and those are good links, I'm saving them to go back to.

Hey, nothing wrong with producing lactic acid - your heart, in particular, uses that stuff up during recovery. Nom nom.
